Julian Assange, the founder of the infamous Wikileaks website, has been arrested after surrendering to London police.

He was denied bail because he is an obvious flight risk. England will attempt to extradite him to Sweden to face rape charges.

The political prisoner is accused of raping two women over a year ago. Officially, he has been charged with two counts of sexual molestation, one count of rape, and one count of sexual coercion.

According to the San Fransisco Chronicle,  Assange had consensual sex with 2 ‘activist’ women who were attracted to him because of his rebel, ‘activist’ ways. The second women he slept with says the condom broke during sex and Assange didn’t stop. The first women says they had sex without a condom.

The arrest comes on the heels of a new, damaging Wikileaks cable that was released yesterday. The “Clinton cable” release details places around the world that are important to the National Security of the United States.
