MTV – Waka Flocka Flame was released from custody Wednesday (January 5) after turning himself in for an array of weapons and drug charges earlier this week. Waka Flocka & Gucci

Brick Squad rapper Waka Flocka Flame was released on $31,950 dollars bail yesterday, Jan. 5, 2011.

Waka Flocka, or Juaquin James Malphurs, surrendered to police on Jan. 3, 2011 to face a number of charges after the cops raided his home while his mother/manager Debra Antney and Gucci Mane were in the crib.

He has 6 criminal charges including possession of marijuana of less than 1 ounce, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of hydrocodone, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, violation of probation for driving on a suspended license, and violating Georgia’s “Criminal Street Gang and Terror Prevention Act.”


Rapper G. Dep Admits To A Murder That Occured 17 Years Ago

NY Post – It took nearly two decades, but the guilt of murder finally became too much for Trevell Coleman.

Wednesday night, after years of living with the burden, Coleman, 36, walked into the 25th Precinct and shockingly confessed to the very cold case, the sources said.

The career criminal — once signed to superstar rap mogul Shawn “Diddy” Combs’ record label — was just 18 when he fatally shot a Queens man outside an East Harlem housing project in 1993, police sources said.

Rapper G. Dep has admitted to a murder…that happened 17 years ago.

G. Dep should probably be treated for a mental illness.

The Harlem rapper admitted to trying to riding his bike on Park Ave. & East 114th street before trying to rob John Henkel.

G. Dep says he pulled away and shot the man 3 times in the chest after the man tried to resist the robbery.


Ja Rule Pleads Guilty To A Felony Gun Possession Charge In A Manhattan Court

MTV – Ja Rule reached a plea deal with prosecutors in a Manhattan courtroom on Monday (December 13) that will see the rapper serve two years in prison. The charges stem from a gun bust in July 2007, when both Ja and Lil Wayne were arrested separately following a concert performance.

The Murder Inc. star pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon, a class D felony in the second degree.

Ja Rule pleaded guilty to a felony gun possession charge in a Manhattan court today.

Ja Rule & Lil Wayne were arrested on the same day

He was arrested on Jul. 22, 2007. The same day Lil Wayne was arrested in New York City on a separate felony gun charge after performing at the Beacon Theatre.

Ja Rule was promised 2 years in prison by the judge for attempted criminal possession of a weapon, a class D felony in the second degree.


Drake Gets Robbed

Drake was robbed at gunpoint May 31, 2009 by Soccerties Cotrell and Paul Lelutiu while he was with a girl. In a recent interview with GQ magazine, Drake revealed how he knew the robbery was a setup.

As MTV has reported, Drake said “I knew it was a setup, because I had on a sweater and a jacket … but when they banged on the car window with a gun and opened the door, the first thing he said was, ‘Yo, run that chain.’ They didn’t rob her, and her purse was sitting right there. So I was like, ‘OK, yup — you set the whole thing up.’ ”

In an interview with DJ Semtex Drake denies snitching on Soccreties and Paul because he says he was in Miami during the trial.

Gucci Mane, born as Radric Davis, was arrested today and charged with driving on the wrong side of the road, damage to government property, obstruction, no license, and other traffic charges.

Gucci Mane arrested…again

Gucci mane was pepper sprayed by police and subsequently taken to Grady Memorial Hospital before he was transported to Fulton County Jail.

Gucci Mane is no stranger to the Fulton County Jail. The rapper was in the same jail a few months ago before he was released on May 12, 2010.

He was in jail on a probation violation for failing to complete his community service.

His rap sheet is pretty serious too:

4/2001 – arrested on cocaine charges, sentenced to 90 days in jail.

5/2005 – turns himself into police to face murder charges before the charges are dropped for insufficient evidence.

10/2005 – pleads no contest to assault charges, sentenced to 60 days in jail.


T.I.’s Wife Charged With Possesion Of Ecstasy
