The Carolina Panthers Release Dwayne Jarrett After He Is Arrested For A 2nd DWI

Dwayne Jarrett released from the Carolina Panthers After 2nd DWI Arrest

Dwayne Jarrett was pulled over for speeding at 2 a.m today Oct. 5, 2010 when officers arrested him for his 2nd DWI in 3 years.

The Carolina Panthers promptly released him the same day.

Damn…I remember when this guy was one of the biggest and strongest wide receivers in college football while he was at U.S.C.

But he has pretty much been a bust since he was drafted in the second round (13th pick) of the 2007 draft by the Panthers. He had less than 500 yards and only 1 touchdown in the 3 years he was in the NFL.

Pete Carroll is the only coach that could MAYBE take a chance on him. The former U.S.C coach owes players like Dwayne Jarrett & Matt Leinart who were never able to adjust to the real world.

These players had it too easy on and off the field at U.S.C and their coach should shoulder some of that blame.
